In summer 2023 Lulu received a scholarship from the Alexander Tutsek Foundation to attend the renowned glass summer school at Bild-Werk, Frauenau, Germany. Here she did a two week course in Pate-de-Verre, run by glass artist, Joshua Kerley. Lulu bought left over glass cullet from her Thames Glass collection, and used this within the process. By the end of the course and for the final exhibition, Lulu re-made the four Thames Glass Tiles (designed in collaboration with Bureau De Change Architects), however this time using Pate-de-Verre.
